Woman commits suicide

LANDI KOTAL, May 22: A young woman, Fatma Bibi, committed suicide by hanging herself in her house on Wednesday in Dargai village in Khyber Agency.  

The deceased was married to her cousin some eight years back. Her inability to conceive children caused her husband to remarry.

Depression, coupled with quarrelling with her husband’s second wife caused the woman to take her own life.
