SUKKUR, May 22: Three unidentified armed men shot dead a 12-year-old boy near Shikarpur Phatak here on Wednesday.

The gunmen was standing close to a Suzuki blocking its way. Rabnawaz (12), son of Nabi Bux Maher, cleaner of the Suzuki, blew horn constantly to persuade them to clear the way which irritated them. One of them took out a pistol and shot the boy dead.

They fled from the scene firing in the air.

Police have sent the boy’s body to his native village in Taluka Lakhi Ghulam Shah after the postmortem had been carried out.

Police are on the lookout of the killers and are sure they will be arrested soon.
