KARACHI: Mother’s Day at Sobhraj

KARACHI, May 19: Sobhraj Maternity Hospital, celebrated Mother’s Day with eminent TV playwriter and social figure, Fatima Surraiya Bajiya.

Speaking on the occasion, Bajiya, said that women, as individuals, are institutes within themselves who not only cultivate and breed their offsprings but also frame the destiny of future generations.

She met the patients admitted in the hospital and spoke to them, emphasizing upon the status of women as guaranteed in Islam.

She stressed for the need to provide better health and education facilities for girls, adding that a girl of today will be the mother of tomorrow. Therefore, only a healthy and literate mother is the key to unlocking a better future for the entire nation.
