Gold Cup from June 1

LAHORE, May 13: The All-Pakistan General Musa Gold Cup hockey tournament will be played at Quetta from June 1 to 10.

The Pakistan Hockey Federation has appointed Mir Israrullah Zehri as the chairman organising committee of the tournament, Muhammad Shafique as the tournament director and Muhammad Farooq his deputy. Sheikh Abdul Majeed is the umpires manager. Muhammad Naeem is the organising secretary.

The PHF also announced a panel of 20 umpires. The names are Rashad Mahmood Butt, Faiz Muhammad Faizi, Muhammad Asif, Iftikhar Ahmed, Jamil Butt, Zulifqar Haider, Haider Rasool, Shahzad Mahmood, Kamran Shah, Mahmood Anwar Dar, Rana Muhammad Liaqat, Ihsanul Haque Babar, Nigar Hussain, Dilawar Bhatti, Mohsin Ali Khan, Muhammad Pervaiz Akhtar, Rana Khalid Iqbal, Farid Ansari, Zulifqar Husain, Munawwar Husain.

The technical briefing meeting will be held on May 31.
