ISLAMABAD, May 13: Interim Afghan Administration Chairman Hamid Karzai has felicitated President Gen Pervez Musharraf on his success in the referendum, an official announcement said.

In a message Mr Karzai said: “It is a matter of immense pleasure that the friendly and neighbourly people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, acknowledging your wise leadership, have elected you as the head of state in a fresh and impartial referendum.
