MIRPURKHAS, May 11: The local police and law enforcement agencies on Saturday evening arrested a man suspected of bringing arms and ammunition from Karachi by Mehran Express.

Stating this at a press briefing here, the District Police Officer, Pir Mohammad Abbasi told newsmen that working on a tip off they searched the train on its arrival and found one 7mm rifle, five pistols, four home-made bombs, four bottle bombs, one double barrel gun and a number of bullets.

The suspect was identified as Yasir Hameed son of Hamidullah, resident of Khadplot, Gharibabad, Mirpurkhas.
