KARACHI: NED announces exam results


KARACHI, May 11: The NED University of Engineering and Technology has announced the results of first-year, Civil Engineering (supplementary) examinations of 2000-2001 and Computer and Information Systems Engineering (supplementary) examinations of 1999-2002 batches.

According to results announced here on Saturday, about 20 candidates were declared pass in the first-year Civil Engineering examinations of 2000-2001 batch, whereas results of several other candidates of 1999-2000, 1998-99 and 1997-98 batches were also declared.

Results of two candidates, with seat Nos 134 and 620, of the 1997-98 batch (supplementary) examination were withheld.

About 34 candidates who had appeared in the second-year Computer and Information Systems Engineering (supplementary) examinations of 1999-2000 batch were declared pass, while one candidate each of 1998-99, 1997-98 and 1996-97 batches was declared successful in other supplementary exams.

EXAM SCHEDULES: The NED University has announced the schedules of B.Tech (pass) second-year first semester examinations (Mechanical Technology) of 1999-2000 batch of Strength of Materials, to be held on May 18, for students of Government College of Technology, SITE.

The theory examinations of Professional Practice of final-year (Architecture) (supplementary) examinations of 1994-95 batch will be held on May 14.

Theory examinations of final-year (Electrical Engineering) (supplementary) examinations of 1997-98 of advanced Electrical Machines will commence on May 21.—PPI
