6 Mujahideen killed


SRINAGAR, May 10: Indian troops on Friday claimed killing six Mujahideen in two different encounters in occupied Kashmir.

In one incident, four freedom fighters were killed in Goigam, 35kms north of Srinagar.

In the second clash, the spokesman claimed, two members of the Jaish-i-Mohammed were shot dead at Shahpur, in the district of Poonch.

Three of the Mujahideen had been shot dead on Thursday, while others had taken refuge in a nearby forested area.—AFP
