Three die as bus hits car

FAISALABAD, May 9: Three people were killed while two others sustained injuries when a bus crashed into a car on the Service Road here on Wednesday night.

The speeding bus (PDU-8630) hit the car (FDX-4551) as a result of which Asif, Habib Malik and Naeem Riaz died instantly while Tahir Masood and Irfan Ahmad received injuries. They were rushed to a local hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.

SHOT DEAD: One person was shot dead by his brother over a marriage dispute in Ghulam Muhammadabad here on Wednesday night.

Muhammad Anwar was sitting outside his house at Raja Chowk when Asghar Ali came there and opened fire on him. Anwar suffered serious bullet wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died.

Police have registered a case.
