Jr selectors meet today

By Our Sports Reporter

KARACHI, May 8: The meeting of the national junior cricket selection committee will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday.

The selectors have been assigned the task to pick 20 boys each for the regional academies at Karachi, Peshawar and Rawalpindi, and for the National Academy at Lahore.

There is no restriction on the age as the selectors were prepared to pick the boys who have even represented Pakistan at the highest level.

However, they stressed that priority would be given to the players who have performed well in the Under-19 circuit.
