They were led by the Nazim of the Chhinni union council, and chief of the Shahani tribe, Ghulam Ali Khan Shahani, Naib Nazim Basheer Ahmed Shahani and Gaincho tribe chief Raza Mohammad.

Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Ali Khan said that the Lasmo was not providing jobs to the people the Kachho area.

He said the officials of the camp had appointed many people of Punjab, NWFP and Balochistan.

He said the officials also had not paid compensation to the landowners of Bhit Jabal.

He threatened that if the local people were not provided with jobs, they would occupy the entire plant and stop the work.

Later, some officials of the Lasmo met with Ghulam Ali Khan and other demonstrators through the police officials and assured them that their genuine problems would be resolved within seven days.

On the assurance of the Lasmo officials, the demonstration was terminated.
