Black Belts for Pakistanis


RAWALPINDI, May 6: World Taekwondo Federation has awarded Black Belt certificates to over 50 Pakistanis after coaching by two Koreans.

The Korean coaches Son Min and Eok Roy conducted a coaching course for officers and men of Pakistan Army and also trained Pakistani taekwondo squad for 9th SAF Games to be held here in March-April next year.

The Army Sports Directorate had acquired the services of these two master Korean coaches who were later also requested to coach the Pakistani taekwondo squad.

The certificates issued by World Taekwondo Federation to over 50 Pakistanis will be given away at a special ceremony to be held at 10.00 a.m. at Army Gymnasium Wednesday.—APP
