KARACHI, May 2: A young man was killed by unknown assailants in Mohammadi Colony in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Police said that Mubarak Khan, aged 20, was asleep in his house in Mohammadi Colony, TPX police limits, when four unknown persons barged into his house, took Mubarak Khan out in the front yard, shot him and escaped. The victim was rushed to the Civil Hospital Karachi. However he died on way to the hospital.

Police said that the victim was recently married and was a worker at fisheries. They suspected some personal enmity as possible motive behind the killing. The victim’s body was later handed over to his relative after the postmortem examination.

SHOT DEAD: An unidentified young man was shot dead by unknown assailants in Site on Thursday. Police said that the unidentified victim in his mid 20’s was shot in his temple from point blank range.

The body was found near the Welcome Roundabout, Site. Police said that body might have been thrown from a moving vehicle, as there were multiple bruises on body. The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem. Later it was sent to the Edhi morgue for identification.

KILLED: A middle-aged man was shot dead by unknown persons in his house in PECHS, in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Police said that three masked assailant entered the house of Mohammad Qazafi in PECHS, Block 6 and having sprayed the victim with bullets, they escaped.

Police ruled out the possibility of a robbery bid, as the unknown attackers did not take any valuables. However, police drew blank on the background of the victim, saying that they were investigating the matter. The body was shifted to the JPMC for postmortem.
