MULTAN, May 1: A goods train engine, which was badly damaged due to a fire between Khanewal and Dera Taj railway stations on Tuesday, was sent to Lahore shed on Wednesday for repair.
Reports said the engine caught fire due to a short-circuit in its wiring while it was pulling a goods train 238-Up from Khanewal to Lahore. However, the driver and the fireman detached it from the rake averting damage to the goods loaded in the train.—APP
