HYDERABAD, April 30: Wapda chairman Lt-Gen Zulfiqar Ali Khan said on Monday that if any meter reader recorded incorrect readings on three consecutive occasions, his service would be terminated.

He was inaugurating the Customers Service Centre at Latifabad.

He admitted that the service of the Wapda in the past was unsatisfactory and there were complaints of wrong billings, detection bills and no work was done without proper recommendations.

He, however, claimed that things had improved to a great extent and the establishment of the customers service centres was also a step in this direction.

He suggested that a committee, comprising the district Nazim of Hyderabad, Sindh government officials and the Wapda officials, should be constituted which should hold regular fortnightly or monthly meetings to consider and resolve the grievances of the consumers.

In his welcome speech, Hesco chief Brig Tariq Arshad said that the Customers Service Centre had been established in Latifabad for the convenience of the consumers who had to travel long distances to obtain copies of their bills as well as for other related work.

EXAMINATIONS: The principal, Government Sindh Law College, has notified for the information of the LLB students that the University of Sindh has announced the annual examination schedule according to which the examination forms can be obtained up to May 15.
