60 huts gutted

DADU, April 28: At least 60 huts were gutted and 10 people injured when fire broke out in the Sadiq Machhi village, some 25 kms from Mehar town, on Saturday night.

The fire started from a hut which soon engulfed the other huts of the village. Ten cattle heads and at least 200 chickens were killed in the fire.

About 2,000 maunds of wheat and 100 maunds of paddy were also reduced to ashes.—BoC
