THATTA, April 27: A heavy police contingent from Hyderabad in four mobiles raided Luqman Palari Farm on Jhampir Road and arrested five suspects on Friday for their alleged involvement in the kidnapping of Dr Mohammad Husain Leghari.

Those who were arrested included Liaquat Palari, Nazar M. Mari, M. Palari, Noor M. Lund and his son, Aslam Lund.

To maintain secrecy, the police did not register their names in the Jherruck police station's record.

The owner of the farm, Luqman Palari, was not available at the site.

KILLED: A labourer, Samiullah Raban, was crushed to death under the wheels of a truck near Gujo on Friday.
