MUZAFFARABAD, April 24: A delegation of the executive members of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) will pay a three-day visit to Azad Jammu and Kashmir from Thursday on the invitation of National Kashmir Committee Chairman Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan.

The delegation, led by APNS President Hameed Haroon, will first visit the Kashmir House, Islamabad, before travelling to Muzaffarabad.

On Friday, the delegates will visit the Line of Control (LoC) near Chakothi, some 60km south of here, where military officials will brief them on the prevailing situation.

The delegation is scheduled to visit the Central Press Club, Muzaffarabad, in the afternoon and will later call on AJK Prime Minister Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan at the PM House.

On Saturday, the APNS team will visit the secretariat of the Legislative Assembly and will call on Speaker Sardar Siab Khalid.
