By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, April 24: Three main political alliances — the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy (ARD), the Pakistan Oppressed Nations Movement (Ponam) and the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) — have joined hands in Balochistan against the referendum, and announced that they would hold a protest public meeting at Ayub Stadium here on April 28.

This announcement was made by the spokesman for the three alliances, Maulana Abdul Haq, at a press conference here on Wednesday.

Ponam acting president Mehmood Khan Achakzai, ARD leaders Javed Ahmed, Kahlid Dogar, Anwar Durrani and Mohim Khan Baloch and others also attended the conference.
