50 drown in Ghana accident
ACCRA, April 24: Ghanaian officials have recovered 50 bodies, including the corpses of 36 schoolchildren, from a lake where a massively overloaded boat capsized last week.
The accident occured off the remote Amevloikope Island, about 300 kilometres northeast of Accra last Thursday.—AFP
