MIRPURKHAS, April 14: At least 18 army personnel of the Punjab regiment were injured when an army truck, headed for Chhor from Hyderabad, fell into a ditch when its driver tried to overtake a Pakistan Air Force vehicle near 78 Mori on the Umerkot-Mirpurkhas road on Saturday night.

All the injured were taken to the Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas where emergency was declared. Two of the injured, Iqbal Shah and Liaquat, were stated to be in a serious condition.
