M.A.O. College win trophy

LAHORE, April 11: M.A.O College won the Punjab University Super League Cricket Championship, beating Government College of Commerce, Sialkot (GCCS) in the final by a big margin of 207 runs at the university’s Old Campus ground Thursday.

Punjab College of Commerce, Lahore (PCCL) finished third after defeating University Law College (ULC) by 151 runs at the New Campus ground Thursday.

SUMMARISED SCORES:

M.A.O COLLEGE: 280 for five in 40 overs (Muhammad Shoaib 72, Arsalan Mir 59, Farhan Usman Khan 57, Ehsan Ali 24, Yasir Ali two for 40).

GCCS: 73 all out in 21.3 overs (Basit Shah 19, Muhammad Asif 18; Mamoon Khan three for 10, Arsalan Mir three for 17, Salman Rahat two for 22).

THIRD POSITION MATCH.

SUMMARISED SCORES.

PCCL: 265 all out in 39.2 overs (Khalid Bashir 100, Aizaz Cheema 50, Hafiz Abdul Rauf 22, Muhammad Sohail 21, Ahmad Dar 22; Waseem four for 42, Kashif Khalil Bhatti three for 37).

ULC: 114 all out in 32 overs (Wasim and Imran Haider 14 runs apiece. Aizaz Cheema four for 32, Shaukat four for 35, Abdur Rauf two for 19).
