Villager hurt

SIALKOT, April 11: A villager sustained critical injuries and a buffalo was killed late Wednesday night in a landmine blast at Kundanpur village in the Sialkot working boundary’s Sucheetgarh-Daalowai sector.

Sources told Dawn that Muhammad Shehbaz (22) was going to his cattleyard when his buffalo ran over the landmine which went off. The buffalo died on the spot while Shehbaz suffered serious injuries. He was admitted to the Sialkot CMH in critical condition.
