The transporters also observed a complete strike on Wednesday, which caused great inconvenience for the people.

The protesting drivers of wagons and buses burnt tyres and pelted stones at the vehicular traffic.

A heavy police force reached the spot and dispersed the drivers after baton-charge.

The protesters said that the bus terminal was constructed in 1998 at a cost of Rs12 million and the wagons and buses were peacefully operating from there since 1998.
