KARACHI: PMA elections result

KARACHI, April 10: Dr Haseeb Alam was declared honorary president of the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), Karachi, for the year 2002-2003.

A PMA press release issued here on Wednesday said that during the biennial elections of the PMA-Karachi held here on Wednesday Dr M. Arshad Malik and Dr Amin A. Gadit had emerged victorious as honorary presidents I an II respectively, while Dr Habibur Rehman Soomro had clinched the post of honorary general secretary.

Dr A.R. Jamali was elected as honorary joint secretary followed by Dr Nighat Shah as honorary finance Secretary, Dr Usman Akhter honorary librarian, Dr Aiesha Mehnaz as honorary editor English journal.—APP
