The injured youth was admitted to the Mayo Hospital where he breathed his last on Tuesday.

The body was handed over to his parents after post-mortem examination.

Local police are investigating.

Reports said five dacoits barged into the house of Liaquat Ali, held up the inmates and escaped after looting cash and valuables.

Saddar police are going into the matter.
