QUETTA, April 9: The Nazim and councillors of Zarghoon town have demanded that Quetta district city government should implement the devolution of power plan, and transfer powers to the town and tehsil level so that they could start their working.

Speaking at a press conference here on Monday Zarghoon town Nazim Abdul Qahar Wadan said that despite the passage of over seven months the district Nazim had not transferred powers to the grassroots level, thus, creating unrest among the town and tehsil councillors.

Present on the occasion were Zarghoon town Naib Nazim Abdul Khaliq Hazara and scores of councillors.

Wadan said due to non-implementation of the devolution of power plan no development work could be initiated by town and tehsil councils.
