JI leaders booked
GUJRANWALA, April 8: The Cantonment police on Monday booked Jamaat-i-Islami’s Punjab amir Hafiz Muhammad Idrees and other leaders for delivering provocative speeches and using loudspeaker.
These leaders had addressed a public meeting in Iqbal Town’s Kashmir Colony a few days ago.
Police arrested JI’s Cantonment Zone amir Shabbir Husain Abbasi, Rahwali amir Dr Muhammad Yousaf and Malik Abdul Rashid while raids were being conducted for the arrest of other accused. —Correspondent
