LARKANA, April 7: A 12-year-old boy, Raja, was killed and around 20 persons were injured when a Larkana-bound bus overturned after its driver lost control over it near Chaodero village in the jurisdiction of the Wagan police station.

The bus was carrying a marriage party from village Laiq Tunio.

The injured were taken to the Chandka Medical College Hospital, here, and the Nasirabad Taluka Hospital.

The injured included Mohammad Khan Abbasi, Manthar Abro, Ashiq Shaikh, Mohammad Waseem Abro, Mashooq Ali shaikh, Afroze Begum Soomro and Sardar Begum.

DCO: The district coordination officer of Larkana, Mohammad Hashim Leghari, has called upon philanthropists to come forward and extend a helping hand towards those who were busy in the service of mankind.

He said this while laying the foundation stone of Khidmat-i-Masoom Welfare Centre.
