Cyclist killed on road

VEHARI, April 6: A cyclist was killed while another sustained injuries on Saturday when a wagon knocked them down on the Vehari-Burewala Road.

According to details, the wagon (LHO-388), coming from Burewala, hit the two cyclists near a flour mill.

Muhammad Rafiq Shah died on the spot while Abdul Ghafoor sustained grievous injuries. He was admitted to the Nishtar Hospital, Multan.

The police have arrested the wagon driver and are investigating.

MEDICAL CAMP: A one-day free medical camp will be set up in H Block, Vehari, in front of the Fatima Hanif General Hospital here on Sunday (April 7, 2002).

The camp will be arranged by the local Anjuman Falah-i-Insaniat. Child specialist Dr Khubeeb Ahmad Jamal will examine children and other patients from 9am to 3pm.
