ISLAMABAD, April 6: Motor bikes race from Islamabad to Murree has become a regular feature causing hardships to the commuters and risking lives of many.

The race is being held every Friday without a permission from the concerned authorities. About 200 youngsters on their bikes gather near the Convention Centre which is the starting point of the race.

Traffic police personnel said the participants of the race were sons of government officials so they could not take action against them. The youngsters causing a traffic mess on the route to the hill station and even risk their own lives.

The people said the sports ministry and the city administration should organize such events for the youth at some proper place.
