RAWALPINDI, April 6: The Mutahidda Majlis-i-Amal is all set to launch a campaign against President General Musharraf’s decision to hold referendum in the country.

In this connection, all parties conferences in all the four provincial capitals will be convened this month to devise a strategy to foil the General’s bid seeking another term as the president.

A party spokesman said all the big, small, national or local parties would be invited to participate in the campaign.

“Similarly, as part of the campaign, central leaders of the Mutahidda will meet lawyers community in different bar associations and will ask them to expose the agenda of the General.” He said the campaign would include meetings with the business community and clerics and mobilization of masses through different ways.
