KARACHI: Hot weather persists

KARACHI, April 2: The hot and dry weather persisted in Karachi and other parts of Sindh on Tuesday.

The highest maximum temperature of 40.5 degrees centigrade was recorded at Nawab Shah.

The Meteorological department has forecast the maximum temperature ranging from 38 to 40 degrees centigrade for Karachi on Wednesday.

A weather report says the day temperature has risen by 3-8 degrees centigrade in lower Sindh.

The lowest minimum temperature of 2.8 degrees centigrade was recorded at Kalat hill station in Balochistan on Tuesday. Light rain is expected at a few places in Kalat, Quetta and Zhob divisions on Wednesday.—PPI
