KARACHI: Equal rights for nationalities demanded

KARACHI, March 31: The Communist Party of Pakistan has emphasized the need for enforcing a secular and democratic constitution ensuring equal rights to all nationalities of the country.

Such a constitution could alone guarantee the security of the federation and prevent the armed forces from interfering in national politics, said the Secretary-General of the CPP, Comrade Khadim Thaheem.

He was speaking at a function held here on the occasion of the third death anniversary of party leader Comrade Imam Ali Nazish.

Dr Jabbar Khattak, Comrade Aslam Baloch and Rauf Korai also spoke.
