Published April 1, 2002

KARACHI, March 31: Government is paying attention to the working conditions of policemen so that they can perform their duties more devotedly, said Sindh governor Mohammedmian Soomro.

Addressing policemen here at the Police Lines Garden on Saturday night, Sindh governor paid rich tributes to the policemen who performed their duties on Muharramul Haram.

“I hope you will continue to perform your duty without any slackness on any occasion in future as well,” the governor said.

He said the government was fully aware of the problems of policemen and had envisaged an action programme to revamp the mechanism of police.—APP
