NAWABSHAH, March 30: Four more sacked workers of the Habib Sugar Mills Limited Nawabshah, who were on fast unto death, fell unconscious and were admitted to People’s Medical College Hospital on Saturday.

Those who were admitted were Faqir Rustamani, Basheer Ahmed Siyal, Rao Islamuddin and Raja Abdul Rasheed. Three workers namely Haji Mubarak Ali, Musharraf Ali Zubairi and Long Khan Rustamani joined the group.

Workers of Habib Sugar Mills have warned the mills administration that they would resort to “Gherao” of the mills on 7th April to get justice.

Different political parties, including PPP, PML-N and others have announced their support to sacked workers on 7th April for the “Gherao” of sugar mills.

The Workers said that the mills administration would be fully responsible for any loss.

Meanwhile, the protest of sacked workers against the Habib Sugar Mills Limited, Nawabshah, continued and attracted public attention. Sikandar Hayat Rind, member Pakistan Peoples Party, said that the mills administration had done injustice to the workers by sacking them without any prior notice.

Khan Muhammad Dahri, coordinator Sindh Democratic Alliance, said that no one would be allowed to play with the life of poor workers. He added that he would take up the matter in the next session of the alliance.
