KHYBER AGENCY, March 28: A man was killed and three others, including two Khasadars, were injured in two different operations against criminals by the political administration in Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency.

The first incident occurred in Kalanga Aka Khel area where a Khasadar force team raided the house of Habib Sarwar who had allegedly given shelter to some outlaws. The outlaws after being encircled by the Khasadar force responded with gun shots which was retaliated by Khasadars, lasting for about 45 minutes. Khasadar Javed was injured during the shootout and two criminals Akbar Khan and Zafar Khan were arrested. Both were wanted in various car-jacking cases by the political administration.

The other incident took place at Kala Khel village of Adam Khel area. Khasadar raiding party on a tip off, blocked Kala Khel Road and when they tried to search a flying coach, they were fired at by the Kala Khel villagers.

A flying coach passenger Maroof Khan was killed and a Khasadar Maluk and a passenger Mashal were seriously injured. The injured were admitted in a local hospital.
