Three shot dead in Charsadda

CHARSADDA, March 27: In two separate incidents three people including two brothers were killed here on Tuesday, police sources said.

In the first incident two brothers Javed and Niaz Ali were allegedly shot dead by the firing of Israr alias Shino and Babu when they were working in their fields in Hafiz Ji Qila of Uthmanzai area, and their third brother Nisar Ahmad was critically injured in shooting, Nisar Ahmad told police in his FIR.

Motive behind the dual murder was an old land dispute between the two parties.

In the second incident a person Mohammad Afzal was shot dead by his rival in Umerzai village. Father of the deceased told police in his FIR that he and Mohammad Afzal were travelling in his tonga when Rozi Khan and Sarab Khan opened fire on them which resulted in the death of his son.

The motive of the crime was an old enmity.
