PESHAWAR, March 23: The provincial council of the Pakistan People’s Party, NWFP, in its meeting held here on Wednesday, criticized the condition of graduation for the candidates of general elections and demanded of the government to withdraw the ban on the participation of Benazir Bhutto in the forthcoming general elections.

The meeting was chaired by Khwaja Mohammad Khan Hoti.

The speakers demanded the release of Asif Ali Zardari, Jehangir Badr, Yousuf Raza Gillani and other party leaders.

The meeting asked the government to announce the date of polls without any delay so that the mainstream political parties could launch their campaigns.
