KARACHI, March 22: The City Nazim, Naimatullah Khan, has assured the college teachers that he would once again request the Sindh governor to review a cabinet decision on denationalisation of educational institutions.

He said this while talking to protesting college teachers who held a rally and later met the Nazim on Thursday.

The teachers expressed concern over privatization of educational institutions, and lamented their hand over to private sector.

Meanwhile, another meeting on the issue held between the representatives of Sindh Employees Alliance and minister for education, Sindh, Prof Anita Ghulam Ali, proved a failure as the minister did not come out with any assurance on the solution of the problems of teachers, SPLA said.
