Govt teachers hold protest rally

HUB, March 20: The Government Teachers Association, Lasbela, on Tuesday held a protest rally at Uthal district headquarter demanding better teaching facilities.

Hundreds of government school teachers from all over the district participated in the demonstration. They held placards and were shouting slogans against the policies of the education department.

Speaking to protestors, Ahmed Khan Ronjho, central general secretary of BGTA and Mohammed Sharif, president Teachers Action Committee, Lasbela, said that the education department’s policies were not in favour of the teachers and were making it very difficult for them to perform their duties.
