ADBP stun ABL

KARACHI, March 18: ADBP scored a shock seven-wicket victory over fancied Allied Bank Limited (ABL) Monday at KRL Stadium in Rawalpindi to book their place in the final round of the one-day championship.

ABL, who were put into bat, mustered 157 in 44.2 overs. ADBP made short work of their target thanks to a fine opening stand of 138 between Inam-ul-Haq (56 off 81 balls, six fours) and Hafiz Majid (68 not out off 143 balls, six fours).

ABL must beat fellow contenders KRL in the last Pool ‘D’ fixture Wednesday to qualify into the next round.
