Saudi military team visits POF

RAWALPINDI, March 18: A Saudi military delegation visited the Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) and Pakistan Ordnance Factories, Wah on Monday.

The delegation was headed by Director, Training and Exercises of Royal Saudian Army, Maj-Gen Ahmed bin Mohammad Al- Qamish.

On his arrival at DEPO, Maj-Gen Ahmed bin Mohammad Al-Qamish and members of his delegation were informed about the aims and objectives of the Organization.

The visiting officials later went round various display centres established by both public and private outfits related to defence production. They appreciated the quality of the products of Pakistan Defence Industries.

Later, the delegation visited Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF), Wah, where it was received by the POF chairman, Lt-Gen Abdul Qayyum.

The team was briefed in detail about the performance of Pakistan’s prestigious defence industry.—APP
