Five senior doctors transferred

MIRPURKHAS, March 13: On the directives of the Sindh governor the secretary health has transferred five senior doctors, including three lady doctors, to Tharparkar.

Dr Padma has been transferred from Naokot to Mithi, Dr Yasmeen Memon from gynae ward, Civil Hospital, Mirpurkhas, to Nagarparkar, Dr Najma from Civil Hospital, Mirpurkhas, to Chhachhro, Dr Anweruddin from Digri to Diplo and Dr Ram Ratan Waswani from Civil Hospital, Mirpurkhas, to Diplo.

Sources said that some of the doctors have approached the Zila Nazim of Mirpurkhas for the cancellation of their transfer orders.

INJURED: A labourer, Afzal Saeed, received electric shocks and was seriously injured while working on an electric pole at Gharibabad on Tuesday.
