By Our Correspondent

SHEIKHUPURA, March 11: Some 20 people were injured, five of them seriously, in a road accident on Faisalabad Road, some 20km away from here, on Monday.

A bus was on its way to Faisalabad from Lahore when its driver lost control over the steering while saving a motorcyclist. The bus went out of control and overturned. Five passengers, including Amina Bibi, Sultana Bibi, Zahir Ahmad, Tanvir and Muhammad Ali, sustained serious injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.

Two teenaged brothers, Ali Raza and Mohsin, were playing along the road near Muridkey village on Sharaqpur Road when a speeding tractor-trolley knocked them down. Both the brothers sustained serious injuries and were admitted to hospital.

Bhekhi police are investigating.
