REMANDED: An accountability court on Monday remanded former provincial secretary Javaid Iqbal Bokhari in the NAB custody for 14 days in a reference of misappropriation of loan from a co-operative finance corporation.

The accused was arrested on Sunday and produced in the accountability court on Monday. He was alleged to have obtained an overdraft of a hefty amount in 1987 which added by markup accumulated to Rs28.26 million.
