GUJRANWALA, March 4: An alleged proclaimed offender was gunned down by his rivals in Garjakh on Monday night.
Zulfiqar alias Butto was attacked near his house by brothers Naveed and Asif. He died on the spot while accused escape from the scene.
Zulfiqar had killed one Muhammad Khalid in 1984. He was also involved in other criminal cases.
When he was declared a proclaimed offender, his guarantor Muhammad Ashraf, the father of Naveed and Asif fell ill and later died.
Police have registered a case against the absconding accused.
