SHO accused of nabbing innocent man

DADU, March 4: The residents of village Manjhi Qambrani of Johi taluka, have alleged a team of Johi taluka police led by SHO, inspector Akbar Panhwar, tortured women and arrested an innocent villager, Arab Qambrani, during a raid at the house of Nazeer Ahmed Qambrani.

At a press conference in Dadu press club here on Monday, Rakhial Qambrani, and 20 other villages said that Nazeer had got bail from the court of fourth additional session judge, Dadu.

They said the villagers showed a copy of the bail to the SHO but even then he insisted on Nazir’s arrest and broke furniture of his house,

They said that Johi police was torturing Arab at the police station and demanding a bribe of thousands of rupees for his release.

They appealed to the AIGP, Hyderabad region, Abdul Rauf Yousufzai, to provide them justice and take action against the SHO of Johi police.
