By Our Staff Correspondent

MUZAFFARABAD, March 3: A teenager was injured and some vehicles were damaged in overnight Indian firing from across the Line of Control (LoC) in two different areas of Azad Kashmir, police said on Sunday.

Tufail, 14, was injured in Khwaja Bandi village in Bhedi sector of Bagh district late on Saturday night when the Indian troops targeted the area with small and big arms, police said, adding the boy, who sustained bullet wounds in his right leg, was hospitalized.

In Samahni sector of the southernmost Bhimbher district, overnight firing by Indian troops caused partial damage to four stationary trucks in Bagsar village. However, police said no casualty had been reported from there.

The otherwise restive dividing line remained calm on Sunday, police said.
