Eight more Pakistani pilgrims die


ISLAMABAD, March 3: Eight more pilgrims from Pakistan have died during the course of performing Haj in Saudi Arabia, increasing the death toll to 110, said the ministry of religious affairs.

Those who died were: Muhammad Nawaz, 62, son of Mahr Murad, from Multan, passport No. K903595; Muhammad Sarwar, 56, son of M. Attul Haq, from Islamabad, passport N0. K374493; Din Muhammad, 66, son of Muhammad, from Faisalabad, passport No. 460662; Allah Bukhsh, 62, son of Muhammad, from Quetta, passport No. 158284; Mukhtar Ahmad, 68, son of Sher Muhammad, from Bahawalpur, passport No. 169668; and Abdul Razaq, 62, passport No. 367203. They died and were buried in Makkah.

Syed Arshad Iqbal, 37, son of Meer Khan, from Faisalabad, passport No. H096966; and Sandi, 68, wife of Muhammad Zaman, from Karachi, passport No. K644910, died and were buried in Madinah.—APP
